Born and raised in Los Angeles, Marissa Roth is an internationally published freelance photojournalist and documentary photographer. She has worked on assignment for various prestigious publications including The New York Times, and was part of The Los Angeles Times photography staff that won a Pulitzer Prize for Best Spot News Coverage of the 1992 Los Angeles Riots.

Photographer Cheryl Dunn's  feature documentary “Everybody Street, New york City“ is about photographers who have used New York City streets as a major subject in their work, world-premiered at HotDocs in Toronto in spring 2013. One of the things I'm often asked about is how do I approach strangers to make their photograph. It's asked frequently enough that I thought that I'd finally write a book about it. So, I'm pleased to announce the release of my latest book and my first e-book, Portraits of Strangers from Fuel Books. 

In this book. I share my personal approach for photographing strangers both at home and abroad. This slim volume provides a wealth of information on getting past your fear of rejection, preparing for the moment and how to interact with your subject to get the best photograph possible.

Deborah teaches long exposure creativity, infrared photography, and creative techniques for the passionate photographer.

Seth Hancock is a commercial portrait and editorial photographer in New York City and Los Angeles. He works with clients ranging from magazines to advertising. His style is playful and dynamic, and his focus is making his subjects the hero.
