When artist and photographer Emilia Martin began exploring the stories passed down through her Polish family, she became increasingly interested in the ways history is constructed, preserved, and forgotten. Working across photography, writing, sound, and sculpture, Emilia uses multiple forms of artistic expression to explore the relationship between memory, heritage, and the stories we inherit.
