Practice Whenever Possible

Ibarionex Perello June 2, 2015

Despite the fact that I’m my own boss, it doesn’t necessarily mean that I go out and photograph anytime that I want. Like everyone else there are too many things to do and only so many hours in the day.

I had an appointment in South Pasadena this morning and I arrived 30 minutes early. At first, I thought I would just kill time on my phone going through my e-mail and mindlessly browsing the Internet.

The Candid Frame #204 - Chloe Rice

Ibarionex Perello September 23, 2013

Influenced by both fashion photographers and internet bloggers, New York native photographer Chloe Rice gives photojournalism a unique editorial feel.
But in addition to specific artists and authors, it is easy to see from her photos that she could acknowledge the entire world as her inspiration.

Chloe sees trees as “bird umbrellas” and rain clouds as “just parts of the sky that like to laugh until they cry”. In her mind cars all smile and “everything looks prettier with eyelashes". Luckily, Chloe has a series of cameras to capture all of this imagination that she sees.

Chloe’s photos both ask you to remain innovative and inspired, to infinity and beyond!

You can find out more about Chloe Rice and her work by visiting her website and blog.

Chloe Rice recommends the work of Todd Selby.
