Michelle Guillermin is a wildlife and nature photographer who engages the viewer in both the grandeur of and the danger to wildlife.  Her use of stark, gritty black and white is intended to bridge time, to push viewers to imagine a world when wildlife was plentiful.  Her goal is to build awareness of the challenges facing our natural world through the appreciation of the few remaining creatures.
