I recently began subscribing to the YouTube Channel of the photographer, Olaf Sztaba. Olaf who describes himself as a visual poet is a photographer who not only has a wonderful visual aesthetic but possesses a philosophy of photography that is not shared often enough. In the YouTube world where there is no shortage of videos of street photographers working out in the street, Olaf brings along a sensibility that brings context to the process.
But it was his latest episode with fellow street photographer, Jens Krauer that hit a new high-point on his channel. Jens, who is also the host of the FujiLove podcast sat down for a half-hour conversation with was a wealth of insight, inspiration, and surprises. I found myself smiling and voicing my approval during different portions of the conversation. I was left feeling that I would have loved to have been the third person at that table.
But lucky for us, we can eavesdrop on the conversation via Olaf's YouTube channel and then immediately enjoy the work of both of these accomplished photographers.
